№ 01 · The catalog

The air-compressor reference, cited and re-verified.

CompressorFinder is the neutral catalog for every class of air compressor — reciprocating, rotary screw, scroll, rotary vane, centrifugal, breathing-air, marine, and DC-portable — plus dryers, filtration, and the installer network behind them. Built so plant engineers, shop owners, and procurement buyers can leave the page with a defensible decision instead of a polished pitch.

What's here

The four layers

A catalog, a network, a verifier, a builder

Each layer assumes the layer beneath it. The catalog is the foundation. The system builder composes from it. The verifier gates publish on every layer. The price layer surfaces freshly-checked retailer data.

№ 01

Air compressors

Every class — reciprocating, rotary screw, scroll, rotary vane, centrifugal, breathing-air, marine, DC-portable. Spec sheets, component breakdowns, maintenance schedules, retailer prices, and source citations for each entry.

№ 02

Air dryers

Refrigerated cycling, refrigerated non-cycling, desiccant heatless / heated / blower-purge, membrane, deliquescent — typed, sourced, sized.

№ 03

Installer network

CAC level, services offered, service-area radius, brands authorized vs serviced, response time, technician count — installer profiles you can trust.

№ 04

System builder

Compose a full compressed-air system — compressor + tank + dryer + filtration + drain + piping + controller — with server-enforced compatibility and shareable links.

№ 05

Editorial guides

Long-form references on each compressor class — what it is, how it works, when to choose it, and how the catalog maps to real installations.

The promise

Every claim is cited. Every spec is verified. Every connection is real. The page is the product — as completely, as currently, and as clearly as the available sources allow.

How this works

Three rules

Why these pages stay useful

The catalog only earns its keep if the numbers on it are right today, not just on the day we wrote them. Three rules cover the rest.

  1. Sources

Every number traces back to where we got it.

Click any spec and you can see the manufacturer datasheet, the standards document, or the dealer listing it came from. If we can’t show the source, we don’t write the number.

  2. Freshness

Pages get checked again, on a schedule.

Models get revised. Prices move. Dealers drop products. We re-read every source on a regular cadence and update the page — or mark it stale if we can’t. You shouldn’t have to wonder whether a listing is from this year or three years ago.

  3. Independence

Nobody pays for a better spot.

Brands can’t buy placement. Installers can’t pay to rank higher. There are no sponsored “best of” badges. The order you see is the order that helps you decide.
