Quincy QT-54 (2V41C60VC) is a 5 HP two-stage cast-iron piston compressor delivering 15.2 SCFM at 175 PSI on a 60-gallon vertical ASME tank, running 230V single-phase. The pump is splash-lubricated with a four-cylinder cast-iron block and an aluminum head, spinning at roughly 1310 RPM. Quincy publishes a 50,000-hour pump life expectancy at 100 percent duty when oil and filters are changed on the recommended schedule. Best fit is a 2-bay automotive shop, a small framing crew, or a serious home garage that runs intermittent impact tools, die grinders, or small sandblasters. The QT-54 sits below the pressure-lubricated QT-7.5 and QT-10 industrial models but uses the same valve and head architecture, so it punches above the typical big-box hobbyist compressor. The 40 amp circuit and 1-phase wiring make it installable without three-phase service, which is a real advantage for residential shops. Pump warranty is one year standard and extendable with the EWK-2 kit. Made in the USA.
