QT-15

Quincy QT-15 is the largest of the QT-series two-stage splash-lubricated piston compressors, rated 15 HP / 51 CFM at 175 PSI on a 120-gallon horizontal ASME tank. It runs three-phase only (200, 230, or 460V configurations) and is intended for industrial duty cycles up to 100 percent. The Pro and Max packages add a magnetic starter, dual control (start-stop or constant-speed), and low-oil shutdown, with the Max also adding aftercooler and electronic auto-drain. Quincy uses a four-cylinder cast-iron block, finned aluminum head, stainless reed valves, and a counter-weighted crankshaft, and publishes a 50,000-hour pump life expectancy. The QT-15 is too large for residential shops but well sized for cabinet shops, body shops, and small fabrication facilities running multiple sanders, plasma cutters, or two impact-wrench bays simultaneously. The compressor ships from Quincy’s Bay Minette, AL facility. Recommended oil is Quin-Cip-D mineral or Quin-Synthetic for hot-environment installations. Sound level is approximately 78 dBA at one meter.
