QR-25 Model 5120

Quincy QR-25 Model 5120 is a 25 HP two-stage pressure-lubricated four-cylinder piston compressor on a 200-gallon horizontal ASME tank, rated 87 SCFM at 175 PSI at roughly 700 pump RPM. The QR-25 series has been Quincy’s heavy-industrial flagship piston platform for decades and is the basis of many high-pressure breathing-air and military applications. Cylinder configuration is a 6 inch low-pressure bore plus a 3.25 inch high-pressure bore over a 4 inch stroke, and the unit is rated for 200 PSI continuous and up to 250 PSI intermittent service. The pressure-lubricated design uses a positive-displacement oil pump with built-in Safe-Q-Lube and hydraulic unloader for protection during oil-pressure drops, plus intake unloaders for loadless start that reduce motor inrush. The cast-iron pistons run in lapped cast-iron valve seats for full sealing under heavy duty.
