QGS-5

Quincy QGS-5 is the entry-point in Quincy’s rotary screw line, a 5 HP single-stage twin-screw machine that produces 16.6 SCFM into a 60-gallon horizontal tank at 125 PSI. It is rated for 100 percent duty, so unlike a hobby-grade piston it can run all day without thermal cycling. Standard voltage is tri-volt 208/230/460V three-phase, with a single-phase 230V option on the TMD-1 dryer-mounted configuration. The QGS-5 is the natural step up for a shop that has been thermal-tripping a 5 HP two-stage piston, or that wants quieter, drier air without a major electrical upgrade. Sound is in the low-60 dBA range. Standard package includes a TEFC motor, V-belt drive, oil-injected twin-screw pump, quiet enclosure, 8,000-hour premium synthetic fluid, and an ASME-certified receiver tank. With-dryer variants drop pressure dewpoint to roughly 50F. Five-year extended airend warranty when registered. Engineered and assembled in the United States.
