Quincy 271C80VCBM is the QT-7.5 Max single-phase compressor on the 80-gallon vertical tank: 7.5 HP 230V single-phase, 22.6 CFM at 175 PSI, 23.8 CFM at 100 PSI. The Max package adds an air-cooled aftercooler, low-oil shutdown, and electronic auto tank drain on top of the standard QT-7.5 splash-lubricated cast-iron pump (1026 RPM). The single-phase motor draws roughly 40 amps full-load, requires an 80 amp breaker, and demands minimum 8 AWG wiring; this is at the upper edge of what a residential shop can power without three-phase. Best for serious home shops, small one-bay body shops, or rural service centers without three-phase utility service. Quincy backs the pump at two years standard and offers the EWK kit for extended coverage. The compressor is roughly 720 lbs and ships from the Bay Minette, AL plant. Sound at one meter is approximately 78 dBA. Construction is the same head/valve/crank package used across the QT-5/7.5/10/15 family, just sized to 7.5 HP.
