R5.5i-125

Ingersoll Rand R5.5i-125 is a 7.5 HP single-stage rotary screw compressor putting 27.5 SCFM at 125 PSI on an 80-gallon horizontal tank, rated for 100 percent duty cycle. The R-Series introduced Ingersoll Rand’s next-generation airend with a reduced parts count, leak-free PTFE refrigerant hoses with O-ring face seals, and a more compact footprint than the prior UP-Series. This is a workhorse package targeted at the bays that previously needed a 5 HP or 7.5 HP two-stage piston but kept thermal-tripping under continuous spray, sand, or assembly air loads. Available three-phase (208/230/460V) and single-phase 230V; on 1-phase the unit drops to 30.47 SCFM (R5.5i base-mount). Tank-mount, base-mount, and tank-mount-with-dryer (TAS-145) configurations are all offered. Ingersoll Rand backs the airend with the Package Care extended warranty when scheduled fluid changes are followed and Ultra Coolant is used. Best for production shops, body shops, and CNC rooms.
