CA5+

FS-Curtis CA5+ is a 5 HP two-stage splash-lubricated piston compressor with the cast-iron E57 pump, rated 18.5 SCFM at 175 PSI on an 80-gallon vertical or horizontal ASME tank. The CA-Series sits a step above the CT-Series in FS-Curtis’s lineup and uses a high-flow stainless-steel channel valve design that delivers more CFM per horsepower (CA5+ at 18.5 CFM versus CT5 at 17.8 CFM at the same 175 PSI). Two-stage compression with intercooling improves thermal efficiency and reduces carryover heat. The package includes a magnetic starter, V-belt drive, and ASME receiver tank, with optional UltraPack configuration adding aftercooler, auto-drain, and dryer for clean dry shop air. Best for 2 bay auto shops, body shops, woodshops, lab spaces, and any continuous-duty 5 HP application that needs 175 PSI service air.
