CA5+-Vertical

The FS-Curtis CA5+ Vertical is a 5-horsepower two-stage reciprocating air compressor on an 80-gallon vertical ASME-rated tank. It delivers 18.5 CFM at 175 PSI from FS-Curtis’s E57 pump, which uses 100% cast-iron cylinders and heads with deep cooling fins for reliable performance under sustained load. The unit ships with a magnetic motor starter, UL-approved pressure switch, OSHA-compliant totally-enclosed belt guard, manual tank drain, and oil sight glass. Splash lubrication, two V-belt drive, and an automatic start-stop control round out a configuration designed for the small-shop simplex market. Voltage configurations include 230V single-phase as well as 200-208V, 230V, and 460V three-phase, all with magnetic starter included from the factory. The CA5+ Vertical platform weighs roughly 580 lbs assembled and competes directly with the Quincy QT-5 and Saylor-Beall VT-735 in the same horsepower band. The base CA5+ ships without aftercooler or auto drain — the ‘UltraPack’ upgrade adds those plus low oil shutdown and vibration isolators, plus extends warranty to five years.
