Champion HR5D-24 is a 5 HP two-stage piston air compressor delivering 42 SCFM at 175 PSI on a 240-gallon horizontal tank, wired for 208V single-phase, in a duplex configuration. The duplex layout pairs two cast-iron pump heads on a single large receiver, providing alternating operation for extended pump life and built-in redundancy for continuous industrial duty. The 240-gallon horizontal receiver is among the largest tank configurations in the 5 HP duplex class, minimizing compressor cycling for high-demand shop applications — spray lines, sandblasting, sustained impact work. Compared to the HR5D-12 (120-gal tank), the HR5D-24 doubles tank capacity for facilities needing longer draw-down intervals.
