Bauer Verticus VTC08-E3 is an industrial high-pressure breathing-air compressor, not a shop air compressor. It delivers approximately 8.4 SCFM (240 l/min) of breathing-grade air at 5000 PSI (340 bar), driven by a 5.5 kW (~7.5 HP) three-phase electric motor in a 208/230/460V configuration. The compressor block is a four-stage air-cooled design with splash lubrication on the lower stages and forced-feed lubrication on the final stage. It is paired with a Bauer P-series filter system (oil-and-water separator, molecular-sieve / activated-charcoal / Hopcalite cartridges) that produces breathing air conforming to CGA Spec G-7.1, DIN 3188, and CSA Z180.1. It is sold as a complete tank-fill station and does NOT include a stationary air receiver, since output is filled directly into SCBA cylinders. Primary buyers are fire departments, dive shops, paintball arenas, and military / industrial breathing-air applications.
