QT-10

Quincy QT-10 is a 10 HP two-stage splash-lubricated piston compressor delivering 36 CFM at 175 PSI on a 120-gallon horizontal or vertical tank, three-phase only (230 or 460V configurations). The QT-10 sits one rung below the QT-15 and shares the same family of cast-iron 4-cylinder pumps, aluminum heads, stainless reed valves, finned-tube intercoolers, and balanced counter-weighted crankshafts. Pump is rated 50,000 hours at 100 percent duty. Pro package adds magnetic starter; Max package adds aftercooler, electronic auto-drain, low-oil shutdown, and dual control (start-stop or constant-speed). Best fit is a busy automotive shop running two impact bays plus blow-off, a small fabrication shop running a plasma cutter intermittently, or a paint shop on continuous HVLP. Quincy’s split between the splash-lubricated QT-10 and the pressure-lubricated QP-10 (industrial truck-mount and fixed-base) is mostly about duty environment – the QP runs cooler under sustained 100 percent demand.
